This year’s Climate X Forum of Egypt’s biggest English daily business brief “The Enterprise Company” focused on the role of green hydrogen after #cop27. Given the clear focus that the Egyptian government is attributing to green hydrogen, the vast potential for the production of #renewableenergy in Egypt and the proximity to European markets encompassing a fully fledged infrastructure, there is lots of investment potential. The MoU on hydrogen signed by the European Commission and the Egyptian government some weeks ago delivers the right frame for immediate implementation.
In order to accelerate this process Hydrogen Europe and Hydrogen Egypt (H²Egypt) 🇪🇬 have signed a cooperation agreement during the conference. Concrete projects, additional matchmaking between European and Egyptian companies will be the outcome of that cooperation.
