
Dr. Dalia Samir, founder and managing director of Hydrogen Egypt, H2Egypt, said that the first hydrogen summit, which will be held in Cairo for the first time, will witness a large presence on the part of foreign companies, ambassadors and local companies interested in clean energy and green hydrogen.
Samir confirmed that the attendance list so far includes 50 foreign companies and 100 local companies, and the door has not been closed yet, stressing that 5 agreements for hydrogen industries will be signed on the sidelines of the forum, and the forum will witness very important discussion panels in light of the approaching announcement of Egypt's national strategy for green hydrogen.
Samir, who is touring countries around the world to market hydrogen projects in Egypt, accompanied by Eng. Khaled Naguib, CEO of the company, said that for the first time, representatives from the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam will attend to explore opportunities for importing hydrogen from Egypt in the future.
And she confirmed that the forum will produce results that serve hydrogen projects in Egypt, stressing that the Saudi Minister of Energy was invited to attend the forum, and the invitation was accepted.
